I’m a Glasgow-based creative music practitioner. I play piano and compose. But mostly I’m a musical director.
My work is mostly in musical theatre, but my background in classical music and jazz constantly informs my practice. I am most inspired by collaborative processes that incorporate performance, new writing, and actor-musicianship.

In a small pub in Prestonpans, East Lothian, four millennials are told the true story of four local miners who, 86 years ago, travelled to the valleys of Spain as part of the Civil War's International Brigades. A play with songs and storytelling, is a timely insight into one of Scotland’s almost forgotten conflicts.

Written and co-directed by Becky Hope-Palmer, this new play with songs tells the story of The Edinburgh Seven from the perspective of a group of teenage girls from the present day. It's a work of actor-musicianship, highly inspired by the glam rock and pop rock movements of the 1970's and 80's.

A digital piece of theatre written by Esme Pearson-Brown exploring world issues in the style of a fairy tale. The script is written in verse with rich rhymes and musicality which lent itself massively to the composition.
